Amy McElveney Podiatry

Consultation Fees

We are not a bulk billing practice and consultation fees are required to be paid at time of service. If you would like specific costings, please call our reception staff to give you a quote for your appointment type.

Health Fund Rebates

Health fund rebates may be available depending on your policy, and in most cases, can be claimed through TYRO on your behalf at the time of payment. In some cases these may need to be claimed by you after full payment has been made.

Medicare Rebates

A Medicare rebate may be available to some people for podiatry consultation. Please speak with your GP to see if you are eligible for this type of funding. A valid referral will be required from your GP to access the rebate. A referral with incorrect details will be considered invalid. Please note that we are not a bulk billing practice and full fees will be payable at the time of service. In most cases, we will be able to process the claim to Medicare on your behalf and a rebate will be paid direct to your bank account.

The current Medicare rebate is $60.35. You may be eligible for a higher rebate if you have reached your Medicare safety net threshold for the year.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you. To avoid gaps in our schedule, we require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations and appointment changes. This allows us time to offer your appointment to someone on our waiting list.

A cancellation fee of $65 will be charged for all late cancellations, late reschedules or missed appointments.
